Customer Reviews
Melva Dixon
KTHardwood Floors did such a remarkable job laying our new hardwood floors in our kitchen and hallways. The crews did a beautifully superior job very step of the way. We love our gorgeous new red oak hardwood floors!

We are very pleased with the work performed by KT Hardwood. We had one level in our home where they refinished the existing wood floor and a level where they installed new wood floor. They were professional, timely and incredibly accommodating. I have to mention Kathy and Trish, I truly enjoyed working with them. Both were supportive and positive. And the finished product? I love it.
Matt Evans
We renovated our home and K.T. Hardwoods did our floors. The owners and the installers where great. They took the time to explain the different types of hardwood floors. The install crew put down several different kinds of stain so we could get the correct color for our floors. The finished product was awesome! Everyone that comes into our home always comments on the floors and we tell them K.T. Hardwoods did the floors. I would use them again and would recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.

About 7 years ago we replaced our main floor carpet with Walnut floors from KT hardwood. Still today, the floor looks absolutely beautiful. We have not had any issues at all and absolutely love our real wood floors. We have some LVP flooring in our business office, which actually looks really nice, but you can't beat the warmth, depth, and feel of real wood floors. We were so pleased with the communication, professionalism, and service from Josh at KT that we are going to have them do more work as we are about to remodel other areas of our home. Thanks for such a great experience Josh and KT team!

Extraordinary beauty and fine workmanship. KT Hardwood installed true hardwood floors in in 1998 for two rooms. We had them come back in 2020 to refinish 2 rooms and add 3 more rooms. They all match and are wonderful. Thank you
FAQs About Hardwood Flooring in South Jordan, UT
What’s the best flooring option for open-concept homes?
Many South Jordan homeowners choose engineered hardwood because it provides a seamless, upscale appearance while offering excellent stability across large spaces.
Why are my hardwood floors making creaking noises?
Creaking can happen when flooring shifts against the subfloor due to age, humidity changes, or improper installation. A professional inspection can help determine the cause.
Can old hardwood floors be refinished instead of replaced?
In many cases, yes. Hardwood sanding and refinishing can remove scratches, dullness, and wear while restoring the floor’s natural beauty.
Is luxury vinyl plank durable enough for active families?
Absolutely. Luxury vinyl plank is highly durable, water-resistant, and easy to maintain, making it a popular choice for busy households with pets and children.
Can KT Hardwoods install custom herringbone flooring designs?
Yes. Our craftsmen specialize in custom hardwood floor layouts, including herringbone, chevron, basketweave, and mosaic parquet patterns.
